Fire Fighter Sky Tower Stair Climb 2012

Last year we did accommodate everyone on the waiting list, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do the same this year.  As people pull out of the event their space will be filled by those on the waiting list only.    

We are updating the results from past years on this site over the next week so please feel free to check those out and past photo's. 

Sky City is offering a "Firefighters" rate for staying at the main hotel this year.  Please contact Sky City for further information and to make a booking.

We encourage you all to get behind the event as we are aiming to raise $240,000 this year to reach the grand total of $1,000,000 in eight years.  This is our event, as firefighters we should all make this happen even if you are not running we encourage you all to get behind the fundraising, as if we hit the million dollar mark we all take the credit for it.  So lets make it happen!

As with all years there will be an awards dinner, we would love to see as many of you there as possible to celebrate the day and let your hair down!  This is a rare opportunity to all get together and meet face to face, it is always a great evening.  To book dinner tickets contact LBCNZ on 0800 10 15 10.

Australasian Police and Emergency Services Games 2012.

We had 54 Firefighters running in the games in Wellington in full gear.  This saw competitors running up the 25 floors of the Majestic Building in 2 sections, full gear and running gear. The event was highly successful, with lots of positive feedback.  Photos and times coming soon!  Our thanks to all those who helped run the event and we hope to see it as a permanent event for all future games.  For those interested it has  already been confirmed as an event at the April, 2014 games in Melbourne, to be run up the 88 floors of the Eureka building, a great city and an even greater challenge!  Click here for Eureka Tower Photo's
